The hotel is situated in an excellent location, right in the heart of the Old Town, just across the wall with reception. You can easily explore the stunning Dome church, as it is only a few steps away from the hotel. the hotel is conveniently located next to the Cathedral, allowing for easy access to various attractions in the city center. The rooms are cozy and well-furnished, offering a comfortable stay. The breakfast provided is plentiful, with a good variety of options to choose from.

There were occasional issues with noise during the night, which could disturb your sleep.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the center of the city, in the Old Town center. It was located down an alley that prohibits cars from traveling, so it was very quiet. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a beautiful view from our room and comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh and tasty food.

Fairly clean hotel with unbeatable location in Riga right by the Cathedral as well as the City Hall. I stayed in bright, airy room. The meal served at the rooftop restaurant was outstanding.

The rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The rooftop restaurant offered fantastic views and delicious food. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the young man at the front desk. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of options and excellent coffee.

I was actually surprised by the location of my recent stay. Situated in the heart of the charming Old Town, it was just a stone's throw away from the beautiful Dome Church. The hotel itself had a unique character, housed in a very old building with only 38 rooms. The historic ambiance was evident, with the floors leaning in that classic old-building style. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English, adding to the warm atmosphere. I appreciated that the hotel wasn't just another impersonal chain, offering a distinct experience that felt genuine. The room I stayed in was spacious and well-furnished, providing a comfortable retreat after exploring the vibrant town.

While my overall stay was enjoyable, there were a few minor downsides to note. The breakfast, although good, could have had more variety and been more carefully prepared.

Some days, the coffees and teas in the room were not topped up. This was a minor inconvenience, but it would have been nice to have them replenished regularly.

The breakfast at Gutenbergs was excellent with a wide variety of choices including meats, cheeses, pastries, and even fresh fish. The friendly staff offered us a complimentary drink and the central location made it convenient for exploring. Good value for money.
